FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH
By fighting the good fight of faith, we make the most of every opportunity that God gives us by trusting God’s grace to bring us through by faith.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12)
Instead of bending to the size of the problem or caving into the temptation we face, we fight the good fight of faith.
By fighting the fight of faith, we trust God in all things in our lives, and in doing that, we take hold of eternal life.
Eternal life is not only about living forever in the life to come. Still, it is about growing in grace and the knowledge of Jesus and developing an intimacy with God as we abide securely in His love.
Jesus went the same way before us and patiently endured the cross, despising the shame of submission to God’s plan for His life.
Our life is a testimony to God’s faithfulness to us, as in Jesus, we fight the good fight of faith.

“Heavenly Father, I know Your Word has instructions for life and life more abundantly. I am to put on the whole armor of You, and I am to take Your Word to live by and meditate in it day and night. I am to walk in Your Love, being patient and kind. All this and more only come from knowing You and walking in obedience to Your Word. I will fight the good fight of faith. I commit to follow Your lead as I love You, my Father God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
