FINDING STRENGTH IN GOD
In Psalms, we find unwavering faith in the middle of the trials and triumphs of life.
But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God. Psalm 40:17
These words by David reveal a humble acknowledgment of his weakness and a profound trust in the strength and care of the Lord.
Despite the accomplishments of David and the power he held as a king, he recognized his dependence on God for every breath he took.
This acknowledgment of his limitations reveals the heart of a humble servant, one who surrenders his pride and places his trust in God.

It is precisely in these moments that we can echo David: We are not abandoned in our need; instead, we are invited to call upon the name of the Lord, who is ever attentive to our cries.
David says, “You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God.” In this simple yet profound declaration, David affirms his unwavering confidence in the saving power of God.
The Lord is not a distant deity but a personal and caring God who comes to the aid of those who seek Him.
When we find ourselves in desperate situations, seeking solutions in the world around us is easy. We may turn to our abilities or rely on the advice of others.
Reminding us to turn first to our God, the One who is our ultimate Help and Deliverer. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are more significant than our understanding.
Waiting for deliverance can be challenging. We may long for a quick resolution to our troubles, but the timing of God is perfect.
Our faith is refined in the waiting, and our hearts are drawn closer to God. As we trust in the timing of God, we learn to depend more fully on His grace and strength, finding solace in His presence.
Embrace the humility to acknowledge your need for God, the assurance of His unchanging love, and the patience to wait upon His perfect timing.
In God, you will find the strength to endure, the hope to press forward, and the peace that transcends all understanding.
