NOTHING WILL SEPARATE US

There are elements in this world that separate us from the people and things we love daily. Finances keep us from taking risks to pursue our dreams.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

Jobs ship people we know far away. Rains flood homes and wash communities off the map, and illnesses damage bodies or even rob life from our loved ones.

We cannot put our hope in any person, place, or anything, or we will be disappointed every time. Because, as strong, familiar, or reliable as they are to us, their reality is the same as ours. Here today and gone tomorrow.

That can seem unnerving or depressing, but even if all these things disappear tomorrow, we are not left abandoned. There is still one thing that remains.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37

We still have one assurance, one faithful Person, and one place to always run to Jesus.

This is our guarantee and the reason for our strength. It does not matter if we face trouble, grow hungry, become in danger, or are faced with death, and nothing can separate us from the love of God.

No power in the sky above or the earth below will ever be able to tear us away from His loving presence, the victory Jesus did on the cross, and our eternal salvation.

Life is about change and growth; there is no problem with wanting to be or achieve the best we can, and we should be striving for that. Our commitment to these things should not overshadow our commitment to God.

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39

Only the enemy wants us to be alone and separated from God. This is how he can devour us and have us totally in despair. Recognize the signs. See if anything is taking your time from going to church, spending time with other Believers, or consuming your time from reading the Word of God. That is an attack from the enemy. He wants us to be separated from God. Do not fall for that trap.

Our focus should be on letting God be God and not letting the trouble of life affect our commitment to Jesus and the work of God. Through every trial and hardship, we should focus on God and remember His promises and authority to do everything He said He would do. Remember, there are benefits to your commitment.

Jesus laid down His life for us. Would you do the same for Him? Where is your zeal, dedication, and commitment to God? Would you lay down your life for Jesus?

Do you need Prayer?

Heavenly Father, I know You are my Father in heaven, and my life is secure in You. You have provided the Way, Truth, and the Life. I want to reflect You in all I say and do. I lay down my life to serve You however You lead. There is nothing that can separate me from Your love for me. I dedicate myself anew to be the witness You want me to be. I will look to you in each situation of life, knowing You are there with the right answer.

Thank You, Father. In Jesus name, Amen.
